Write a synthesis of the articles and videos for this week. This will be a short synthesis, so you will need to focus on Comparison and Contrast of the sources (What do the sources have in common? What is their message about the January 6 insurrection?) You will also need to incorporate at least two quotes from the sources (Two quotes TOTAL, NOT two per source). This last issue focuses on the January 6, 2021 Insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. You will be reading a fairly long Wikipedia overview of what happened. Please read this in depth and then view the two videos. Both were posted on the FBI’s website (One was created by the NY Times and the other by the Washington Post). Your synthesis will be a short essay in which you describe what happened and why. What is the message of the three texts together?
