General Instructions:
Please complete all five of the identifications (IDs) listed below. Each ID will be worth four points (20 points total). To receive full credit for each ID, you must answer each ID in four or five sentences (approximately 100 words for each ID) and accurately identify four main elements of each ID: Who/What (who it is or what it is), When (approximate dates or century), Where (country or region of the world), and the Significance of each ID (why it is important for you to know the term). Students may use lecture notes, the printed textbook, and the OER textbook to complete the IDs.
No other web or printed sources should be used (e.g., Wikipedia). The use of any unapproved sources will result in a zero for the quiz. All quizzes will be checked for plagiarism by Turnitin.
Please write your answers on a Word document and submit the final quiz on Canvas by 12:00 midnight on the specific due date (see above). Please include your name at the top of the answer sheet.
Late quizzes will not be accepted and will receive a zero.
Citation Guidelines:
Since you are using only in-class source materials, you do not have to include a bibliography or works cited page. However, you are still required to use parenthetical citations to reference your sources (i.e., lecture notes, OER textbook, and printed textbook). Parenthetical citations should be placed at the end of the sentence or passage in which the source material is cited. For the purpose of the final quiz, you may use the shortened form of the citation. Lecture material must be cited, too.
Please include the correct textbook page numbers and PowerPoint presentation titles in your citations.
Printed textbook: (Duiker,
World History
, page number)
OER textbook: (Berger,
World History
, page number)
Lecture material: (Madak, “Title of PowerPoint Presentation”)
Please complete the identifications (IDs) below:
