Complex Computing Activity: – Students are required to design algorithms for error correction protocol for Layer – 2. Students are required to design algorithm on their own considering the layer 2 functionalities and transmission overhead considerations, novelty would be appreciated in the end term product design. Also, mention the usage of algorithms in existing transmission network scenarios. – ● Design two simple algorithms for bit stuffing for error detection. The first add bits at the sender; the second remove bits at the receiver. Also, draw the circuit diagram for the algorithm. Design a bidirectional algorithm for the Stop-and-Wait Protocol using piggybacking for noisy channels for error correction. Note that both parties need to use the same algorithm. Also, draw the flow diagram for the designed algorithm.
